Loreto School offers wonderful facilities from large, bright and modern classrooms to fabulous and varied recreational amenities. Loreto School has a regular bus service running from the school gates and also the DART (fast train to Dublin) only a few minutes’ walk from the school.
Loreto School is ideally located on the edge of Bray town; only five minutes’ walk to the centre and is approximately 35 minutes from Dublin Airport and 40 minutes from Dublin City Centre. It has extensive landscaped grounds with a mixture of modern and historic buildings, with some of these buildings dating back to the Nineteenth Century.
Host families offer a warm and welcoming friendly family environment. Host families will be within walking distance or a short bus journey of the centre. Daily practice of the language and the discovery of a new culture are some of the numerous advantages that accommodation with a host family offers. You will stay in a double room and will share the common rooms with the members of the family. You have breakfast and the evening meal with the family and lunch in the cafeteria of the centre. On request and depending on availability, our students may be accommodated with a friend.
Except when a full day excursion takes place, classes will run Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00 (with a 15 minute break). Learning materials will be made available to the students, with a graded certificate and an end of course report being presented at the end of their stay.
Students participating on the “zigzag” programme will alternate morning and afternoon classes weekly. Afternoon classes, except when a full day excursion takes place will run Monday to Saturday from 13:30 to 17:30 (with a 15 minute break).
The maximum number of students per class is 15, levels are according to the CEFR, Beginner: A1 to Advanced: C2.
